Let me just say that drawing this bicycle as part of my application to RISD was hell. It took me hours and hours for a few weeks, and now I have to FOLD it and send it to them in an envelope and never see it again after that.
And in a way I'd rather go to Mass Art than RISD anyway and you can't submit drawings done specifically for other colleges to MassArt...
hi there, i'm doing a bicycle zine in austin, tx called "the dropout". I would like to use your piece, "bicycle" in the zine and give you credit and add link to your page if you you would like. shoot me an email at theluckymatchgame@yahoo.com if you are interested.
wonderful! please send me 1. how you'd like to be credited (real name, alias) 2. where you're from, location 3. what link you want (you've already done this one)
your going to the art institute of boston, how is that..im getting ready to transfer to a 4 year art school so im trying to get all the information i can get!
I've finished the other two and have just the bike to do. Mygawd, how frustrating. >_< Running out of time. . .
Wish they would send the stuff back, or at least let us send it in one of those mail-tubes, right?
Looking good, though. Nice detail and perspective. Good luck!
Yeah it's too bad they keep them. My art teacher recommended going and making a full size copy of them so at least I would have that. I'm pretty sure they put them on display also. I still have the other 2 drawings to do plus the essay...ugh...
Ow. You have maybe 5 more days to finish! Go, go, go!
But isn't the essay pretty easy? Just stating why you enjoy art or. . . ? Ack. In any case, I don't have the resources to make fullsized copies so I'm probably just going to photo them and post on dA. . . It almost makes me want to not apply, just so I can keep them. Hehe.
thanks,
scott
